The Battle of Guilford Courthouse Reenactment

This past weekend, my husband and son participated in the reenactment of  The Battle of Guilford Courthouse. This battle was a turning point in the war. The British casualties were so heavy, that Cornwallis left the Carolinas and never returned. This battle enables the American Victory ant Yorktown.

A pleasant surprise! I thought I was the only Catholic blogger with Brit-side RevWar reenacting experience! I retired from the 10th Foot about 17 years ago, as an officer. Hope your son and husband enjoy this wonderful hobby! Can't enlarge the pics enough to read the numbers on the buttons. 43rd? Marines? Other?
Pax et bonum!
