Baseball season is in full swing.  It seems like it is filling up a lot of our time between practice and games and more practice!  Sean has been really excited about baseball.  I've taken a few good pictures of baseball this season.  I keep forgetting my camera!  This Wednesday, we are going to go out to watch teh Winston-Salem Dash play.  Matthew is a bat boy and we can't wait to see him work.   Come out and heckle him with us at the noon game on Wednesday, if you are able.

It is also that time of year-- CAT testing!  We just got the CAT this past week and the boys will do the testing tomorrow.  Sean exclaimed, "I love the California Achievement Test!  It is the easiest day of the year!"  We've got confirmation thsi week and we have scheduled NO appointments!   We've got quite a few in June, but nextweek, we're taking a break!

Here's a picture of Sean batting:

Greek Art

The boys were very excited to bring their finished projects home!  They made hte plates themselves with clay, then carved designs in them.  Followed by painting with an old Greek painting technique before glazing.  I have them hanging in my kitchen.  Nice work, boys! They all think their plates are "the best" and were arguing over it!  ~smile~  Boys!

Strawberries!

We went on our yearly strawberry picking expedition. YUM.  We actually go a few times each season.  We're already searching for new strawberry recipes to try out.  This year for Mother's day, I received a copy of Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking.  Divine!  I made quiches the other day and tonight I am trying Chicken Fricassee -- with a strawberry dessert.  I think we'll try Strawberry Bavarian Cream!

We found out last week that J's IgG is still low.  We're up for our yearly insurance approval and once again, they wrote the wrong diagnosis, so it had to be appealed.  After 8 years, I know the drill!

Here are a few pictures from strawberry picking today:
