Geaux Tigers!

This is what I found when I walked past my oldest son's room this morning.  The shirts he has not washed all season long:

I wondered, for a moment, "Is he throwing them away or going to put them in the wash?"  He's worn these shirts for every game this Season and wouldn't let me wash them.  He's learned that lucky charms don't work.  Even with the defeat at the National Championship, LSU still had a great season.  13-1 is nothing to scoff at.  They were undefeated in the conference, won the SEC championship and only lost one game this season.  Like Les said in this video interview, "They accomplished a lot this season."   It hurts to go out the way they did in the last contest, but over all-- it was an amazing season, Tigers.  Les' post game interview

LSU v Alabama

The boys' football games were cancelled due to bad field conditions.  I think we were supposed to be sad about this, but we were elated! This made it possible for us to watch the LSU game live, in real time!

What a game! Sean had a migraine and ended up going to bed as halftime started. That's just life with Mitochondrial Disease.   It was a nail biting game all the way through OT.   In the end, LSU won in OT 9-6. Geaux Tigers! I feel a National Championship game coming on........

This is the play of the game according to The Daily.  I agree. This interception saved LSU.

Geaux Tigers!

Anyone who knows our family knows we are huge LSU Tiger fans.  Our neighbors get to see pretty funny sights around here. Sometimes the boys run victory laps in our yard with the LSU flag and we always have a CD in the player for blasting the LSU band throughout the house when we score, too.  I'm sure our neighbors appreciate that. Luckily, the lots are big enough they don't hear much. We've got one neighbor that is a  Gator fan.  He razzes us and we razz him.  I'm leaving the picture of the day on his door.  Poor Gator fan.

Here is the picture of the day.

SEC football is the best!  Geaux Tigers!
