Black Widow spiders like my composter! We found this one there today. Last year we found at least 8 Black Widow Spiders in our yard!

We have found that black widows like a spot that is hidden, yet has a good water source, which I suspect your composter has. We found one this year already as well! One year while taking the pool down in Virginia we found about 10 of them on the pool! Yikes! That was the first time we had ever seen one. Luckily they are not aggressive. God bless!

We are all so afraid of spiders, there would be lots of screaming and running here. :)
